Une Vipère aspic aux yeux rouges : Première suspicion d’hyphéma bilatéral chez Vipera aspis aspis

Description

Bulletin n°179

Haemorrhage into the anterior chamber of the eye can be caused by several factors: notably physical trauma, metabolic disease or pathogens. We report the first suspected case of hyphaema in free ranging Vipera aspis aspis. In reptiles, emerging diseases are rapidly spreading worldwide. It is thus important to report new pathologies.
